Of course I didn’t catch that Uber
The last post seems to have lost itself as I published and I can’t see the photos. They will be on facebook if you cant see them in the post.

I think the post ended with me going to grab an Uber back to the hotel. Of course that didn’t happen partly because I had more to explore and also I could not find a place where an Uber could pick me up.
And so I walked along the waterfront still buzzing with everything I saw. Little Venice continued on this side of the avenue and seemed particularly appropriate as it pooled outside a stunning building home to an Italian Restaurant.
Every now and then I’d find a wee gem to take me into wonderland. This one a topiary in one of the many parks and promenades.
The only way to get across the wide avenue was by way of the underground walkway and this one was extra special; marble clad and shiny and with bonus music hauntingly filling the space. Magical.
Not having an exact idea of how to get home I wandered in the general direction funding treasures along the way. This time in the form of an entire street of cafes and restaurants. The street name is there for the Chris’.
Soon I found myself in the Old City. I am going there again as part of the tour so wasn’t overly keen on exploring but it did not excite me as much as most old cities. It was full of tourist stalls and touts and I couldnt find my way out of there fast enough.
Now back in my hotel exhausted physically and emotionally the day has been amazing. I’ve left a few things to check out tomorrow so for now its rest time.
